Over the last few decades Chris Porter has written material that has featured on a numerous of my albums, either as a poem within the music or a thought to reflect upon in the CD sleeve notes.
Chris's words have be very inspiratioal for me and my music and as served as a useful guide when needed during moments  on my life's journey.
I thought it would be great to create an album of Chris's words, spoken by Chris, that could act as a guide or support for anyone who might need it.
 
'Words to Music' is a special selection from many of Chris's writings that I choose.
Chris narrated each of the poems/writings and I composed music intuitively inspired from what was being read. This was the first release where the words were in a sense the lead and the music a background reflection.
'Music to Words' is a collection of tracks from my albums where Chris's words had been used.
These included 'Echoes from the Mist', ' Voices of the Heart', 'Syllabus of Magic' and from the now discontinued EP 'Reflections'.
